Tafseer (Ibn Kathir Summary)
Surah Al-Kafiroon was revealed in Makkah when the disbelievers proposed a compromise in worship. Allah commanded His Messenger (ﷺ) to clearly reject any form of compromise in faith. Ibn Kathir explains that this Surah establishes complete separation between Tawheed and Shirk.
