Ara’aytalladhi yukadhibu bid-deen
Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?
Fa dhaalikal-ladhi yadu‘‘ul-yateem
For that is the one who drives away the orphan
Wa la yahuddu ‘ala ta‘aamil-miskeen
And does not encourage the feeding of the poor
Fa wailul-lil musalleen
So woe to those who pray
Alladheena hum ‘an salaatihim saahoon
Who are heedless of their prayer
Alladheena hum yuraa’oon
Those who make show [of their deeds]
Wa yamna‘oonal maa‘oon
And withhold small kindnesses

Such people show cruelty to orphans, neglect the poor, and perform prayer without sincerity. Their worship is only for display, not devotion.
